This Fantastic property in North West England is currently looking to recruit a dynamic and talented Senior Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade. This property has substantial investment and is a great opportunity for a determined chef to develop their skills and career.
The duties of Senior Sous Chef will include:
•Supporting the head chef and maintaining of kitchen operations in head chefs absence
•Building and developing a professional and motivated brigade
•Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen department
•Ensuring standards of the group are maintained at all times
•Striving to achieve industry and critic recognition and accolades
•Motivating and leading the brigade to achieve excellent results
•Developing dishes and menu idea
•Ordering, stock control, GPs, costings
•Recruitment, training and staff development
•Achieving budgets and targets are achieved
•Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at all times
The working pattern for this Senior Sous Chef position will be five days out of seven as the business requires and will be a combination of straight and split shifts.

You must have great management and leadership skills with a determination to achieve high standards. You must be able to motivate you team to succeed and further the establishment’s reputation.
