The duties of Head Chef will include:
•Ensuring standards are maintained and bettered at all times
•Confidently maintain 2 rosette
•Utilising locally sourced ingredients to produce innovative dishes
•Motivating and leading the brigade to achieve excellent results
•Developing dishes and menu idea
•Ordering, stock control, GPs, costing
•Recruitment
•Ensuring Health and Safety and all other legislation is adhered to at all times
The working pattern for this Head Chef position will be five days out of seven, working 45 to 55 hours per week, and will be a combination of straight and split shifts.
Candidates for this great Head Chef position will be well experienced and competent in a 2 rosette kitchen and proven ability to produce consistent results. You must have great management and leadership skills with a determination to achieve high standards. You must be able to motivate you team to succeed and further the establishment’s reputation.
